Gender Affirming Care Consultation

I have many years of experience providing education and consultation for groups and organizations of all kinds—medical practices, senior centers, religious groups, summer camps, parent groups, university classes, teen classes, and more on how to create welcoming, affirming spaces for transgender and LGBTQ+ individuals.

I also provide education and consultation on understanding the mental health needs of transgender and queer kids and teens.

I would be more than happy to speak with you and your organization about providing consultation.

Winter Trans Kids Playgroup and Parents Group

Please join us for our second playgroup series for transgender and gender non-conforming youth grades K-5!

This group will give your wonderful trans/GNC kiddos a chance to share the joys and challenges of their gender experience, and connect with their gender diverse peers in a warm and understanding environment. Group sessions will blend facilitated discussion with space for free play in which youth can engage with one another freely, joyfully, and authentically.

This winter, we are also excited to offer a concurrent, facilitated parents group for parents of trans and GNC youth to share emotional support, helpful resources, and parenting strategies to help your kids thrive. Kids do not need to be enrolled in the play group for parents to participate.

Location: The Valley School: 318 30th Ave E., Seattle

Dates: Tuesdays 6-7pm.  Feb 4, 11, 25; Mar 4, 11, 18, 25; Apr 1.

Who: Trans and gender non-conforming kids grades K-5

Fee: $30-60 sliding scale per session (covers both groups)

Snacks will be provided!
